Manufacturing and design

Queensland offers strong manufacturing capabilities across diverse established sectors such as engineering, machinery and equipment, mineral and metal products. The State also boasts newer sectors with high growth potential such as electronics, rail equipment and services and fibre composites.

The Queensland Government recognises that good design makes a vital contribution to the State's economy, culture and lifestyle. It has the capacity to protect our environment and positively influence the lives of all Queenslanders.
