Join the buzz and win!

Do you have a great story idea? To mark the launch of the Queensland science and technology website we're running a competition to find out what science makes you buzz.

To enter, simply suggest a topic for a feature article you would like to see on www.science.qld.gov.au.

The winning suggestion will receive a pack of books from some of the talented authors featured at the 2009 Brisbane Writers Festival:

  • The Riverbones by Andrew Westoll
  • Dexter by Design by Jeff Lindsay
  • The Clean Industrial Revolution by Dr Ben McNeil
  • Climate Action: a campaign manual for greenhouse solutions by Mark Diesendorf
  • Books 1 & 2: The Sentients of Orion by Marianne de Pierres
  • Manthropology by Peter McAllister
  • Rock, Paper, Scissors: Game Theory in Everyday Life by Len Fisher.

Suggestions will be judged on their interest to a broad audience and relevance to Queensland. To enter, read the competition terms and conditions and complete an application form.
